Social Media: A Director's Best Friend or Worst Nightmare

Classroom
April 14, 2015
Philadelphia, PA

Overview

Directors need to be aware of social media’s unique benefits and stay current on how Management is using it to the organization’s advantage. However, like fire, social media is a “great servant but a terrible master.” It can create unprecedented problems and liabilities, while making a seemingly small problem spiral into an out-of-control crisis in minutes.
