Honoring Judee | Sustainability & Governance
We will be honoring Judee von Seldeneck for her many years of service as the Chair of NACD Philadelphia Chapter and will be having a short program on: Sustainability & Governance
In December 2015, there was a major turning point in the world efforts to deal with global warming, with the adoption of the Paris Agreement. Initiatives such as the Paris Agreement, as well as increasing regulations and demands of investors and communities in which companies operate, have put increased pressures on companies and their boards of directors to address challenges and opportunities posed by sustainability. The prospect of climate change and sustainability factors such as threats to human capital and resources will dramatically affect the way many companies do business, and as a result, sustainability has become a board issue.
NACD Members are encouraged to bring a non NACD member to this complimentary reception. When registering, please indicate the name of the guest and the board that they are currently serving.
