Speaker Spotlight

 

Alyse Bodine

Alyse Bodine is a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles and a core member of the firm’s' global Financial Officers Practice. She also serves as Partner-In-Charge of the Philadelphia office and as a member of the firm’s Americas Leadership Team. Her search experience comprises corporate and divisional chief financial officer, controller, audit, treasurer, investor relations and tax assignments. She also works with clients on Board of Director search engagements. Alyse works with a diverse client base including Fortune 500, small- and medium-sized public and private companies, as well as private equity- and venture-backed companies. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Alyse was an investment banker with a regional investment banking firm, where she was also the founder of a division of the firm’s marketing department. Alyse currently serves as a Trustee of The Rosenbach of the Free Library of Philadelphia. She is a member of W.O.M.E.N. in America, a nation-wide organization aimed toward helping professional women advance their careers through mentorship and leadership training. Over the years, she has been involved in the Philadelphia community as both an active volunteer and board member of various professional and non-profit organizations, including the Free Library of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia American Marketing Association, the Philadelphia Art Alliance, White-Williams Scholars, and the Junior League of Philadelphia. Alyse is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. She resides in Philadelphia with her husband.

Alan Kaplan

Alan Kaplan - Moderator Alan began his executive search career in 1987, and launched Kaplan Partners in 1994. Kaplan Partners is a leading retained executive search and talent advisory firm serving the Financial Services Industry, including banks, private equity funds, asset managers and corporate financial roles. His early career was in corporate banking with First Pennsylvania Bank and Meritor/PSFS. Kaplan Partners has been named five times to the Philadelphia 100 as one of the region’s fastest-growing private companies and is a member of The Philadelphia 100 Hall of Fame. Alan serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, on the Temple University Fox School of Business Dean’s Council, and served on the Board of Advisors of Penn Liberty Bank until its’ recent sale to WSFS Bank. In addition, Alan serves on the Global Board of Directors of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), the industry’s leading advocacy and education organization, and chairs the AESC Americas Council.

Jeffery Constable

Jeff is a partner at Spencer Stuart, where he is a member of the firm’s Financial Officer, Financial Services, Private Equity and Boards practices. Jeff has advised a diverse array of both large and mid-cap clients in their searches for chief financial officers, board directors and other senior leaders. He has also worked with corporate boards, investment firms and family enterprises that are going through leadership transitions and succession planning processes within their organizations. Jeff has led client engagements across industries throughout the U.S. and in Europe, for public companies as well as family-owned and private equity-backed businesses. A consultant with Spencer Stuart since 2003, Jeff previously led the firm’s Philadelphia office for six years. He currently sits on Spencer Stuart’s audit committee.
