New directors face a steep learning curve in getting up to speed on issues relating to the company and its board culture. The pressure to climb quickly, to be able to contribute meaningfully to the work of the board and its committees, can be intense and hinges on the quality of a board's onboarding process. Effective onboarding practices will be the topic of our April 7th discussion with a focus on today’s climate of complex risk, rapid change and disruption.
At the meeting directors will share their experiences, lessons learned, and best practices from their current and previous board assignments. Rob McNeill, Managing Partner of Deloitte Greater Philadelphia practice, will be chairing the discussion and will be joined by Jane Scaccetti who serves on the board of Penn National Gaming and Hollywood Casinos among other entities.
Please join us for what will certainly be a lively and informative discussion.
