Alan Kaplan

Alan is the Founder and CEO of Kaplan Partners, a retained executive search and talent advisory firm headquartered in suburban Philadelphia. Since the firm’s founding in 1994, Kaplan Partners has provided Boards of Directors and CEOs with advice on the dynamics of CEO succession, and assistance with the identification, assessment and selection of new CEOs, Directors and senior executives. The firm is a leader in talent management and leadership succession across the financial services industry. Alan has thirty years of talent management and executive search experience, and began his career in corporate banking with two leading Philadelphia institutions. He has successfully led over 70 CEO/Succession projects, as well as hundreds of C-Level consulting and search assignments. In addition, Alan and the Kaplan Partners team conduct Management Assessments of leadership teams to enhance succession planning and professional development. The firm’s Board Advisory Services focus on Director Succession, Performance, Diversity and Recruitment. Alan holds an Economics degree from Penn State University, and an MBA in Finance from Temple University. He is a member of the Dean’s Council of the Temple University Fox School of Business, The Board of Directors of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and the Board of Directors of NACD Philadelphia. He previously served as an Advisory Board Member for Penn Liberty Bank until its recent sale to WSFS Bank. Alan is also a weekly business commentator on talent management and career issues for KYW News Radio 1060 in Philadelphia, a regular columnist for SmartCEO Magazine, and a frequent speaker and author for industry associations across the country. Alan has been elected a member of the Global Board of Directors for the Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (, the worldwide organization representing retained executive search and leadership consultants. Kaplan Partners is also a Founding Member Firm of the Partners Search Alliance, a nationwide consortium of leading boutique executive search firms.

There du Pont

There is President of the Longwood Foundation, a private foundation principally supporting charitable organizations in the state of Delaware and southern Chester County, Pennsylvania. He currently serves on the boards of WSFS Financial Corporation and Burris Logistics and is an ex-officio member of the DowDupont Board. At WSFS, he is the Lead Director and Chairs the Governance & Nominating Committee. He has been on DuPont’s Board since 2006 where he chaired the Audit Committee for five years and has served as a member of the Science & Technology, Governance, and Compensation Committees (at various intervals). He is Board Chair of the Community Education Building in Wilmington. In 2007 and 2008, he served as Senior Vice President, Operations and Chief Financial Officer of, a leading online provider of health, beauty, vision and pharmacy products. Prior to that, Mr. du Pont served as President and Chief Financial Officer of Wawa, Inc., a chain of food markets on the east coast. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration from Stanford University

Arlene Yocum

Arlene M. Yocum retired as Executive Vice President at PNC Bank in January, 2017 after a 27 year career with PNC. Arlene held a variety of management and executive positions with PNC's Asset Management Group (AMG) including Managing Executive of AMG Client Service, Managing Executive of PNC's Institutional Investment Group, Senior Vice President with PNC's Private Banking Group, head of PNC's Corporate Trust Division and Senior Legal Counsel. Arlene was Legal Counsel with Fidelity Bank (now Wells Fargo) and in private practice with the law firm Blank Rome LLP. She is a Director of AK Steel Holding Corporation as of January 9, 2017. She also served as Director of Integrated Alarm Services Group (2005-2007), Protection One Alarm Monitoring Inc (2007-2010), and Key Energy Services Inc (2007-2016). Arlene is President of the Community College of Philadelphia Foundation. Arlene received a Bachelor's Degree from Dickinson College and a J.D. from Villanova School of Law. AJ Jordan III

AJ is an assurance partner and serves as EY’s Northeast Region Technology Market segment leader, responsible for strategy and service within the technology and telecom markets. He previously served as EY’s Northeast Growth Markets (GM) leader, responsible for the go-to-market approach in working with high-growth companies. He has also served as Philadelphia GM Leader for a number of years, focusing on market and account execution as well as acting as the director of the Greater Philadelphia Entrepreneur Of The Year®. Founded by EY, these programs recognize visionary leaders who are innovating and setting the pace for the future of business. In June 2017, AJ helped open the firm’s new Chelsea Technology Innovation Center, a flagship EY wavespaceâ„¢ location, part of the recently launched global network of innovation centers that brings together multi-disciplinary talents in collaborative, interactive working environments. He is passionate about the acceleration of business through digital innovation as well as the growth of technology entrepreneurial ecosystems. AJ has been with EY for 26 years, working with high growth, emerging companies and their investors. He has served a wide variety of public and private companies, including many private equity and venture backed companies, spanning technology, telecommunications, manufacturing and consumer, hospitality and medical devices. AJ also serves as the relationship partner for various PE/VC firms. AJ has extensive experience with business and strategic planning, technical accounting such as revenue recognition, stock based compensation, purchase accounting, and assistance with mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and initial and secondary public offerings and filings. He has led EY’s efforts on several initial and secondary public offerings. AJ also is a member of the EY Northeast Center for Board Matters partner network, where he is focused on technology convergence and security impacting today’s board of directors. He serves on the Philadelphia advisory board for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and previously was EY’s board representative for the Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT) where he served as the IMPACT 2012 Venture Conference chairman. He is on the Board of Trustees Audit Committee at the University of Delaware and previously was the Chair of the MIS and Accounting Advisory Board. AJ is also an active board member for the Moorestown (NJ) ice hockey club program, and spends his summer free time on Long Beach Island with his wife and four children.
